Pitch Perfect Matchmaking Event

“Wait, I know someone you should meet!”

If you’ve ever said this to a friend, consider introducing that friend as a Featured Guest at Eastlake’s neighbor-powered matchmaking event in April – PITCH PERFECT.

This April, join the Eastlake Community Council (ECC) and Capitol Hill Community Council in a break from algorithm-driven apps.

ECC will host a community building event – a twist on a tried-and-true idea – that we’re better off being introduced by people who actually know us.

Here’s how you can help make this event happen.

Apply to introduce a friend. Write to the Pitch Perfect Event Coordinator at info@eastlakeseattle.org by February 14, 2026.

Your email must include:

  1. Your name and your friend’s name

  2. Confirmation that your friend lives or works in Eastlake, is single, and consents to being pitched

  3. Photos of your friend

  4. Contact information for you and your friend to arrange screening details

ECC will screen applications and select up to 10 pairs of friends and Featured Guests.

Featured Guests must comply with the criteria listed above.

The friend making the pitch will have 3 minutes to tell a story about their Featured Guest, including what they’re looking for—an activity buddy, companionship, or a partner.

Folks in the audience may see themselves as a good match or think of a friend or coworker who could be.

We’ll have an emcee to keep everything on track and a social hour with refreshments after the pitches.

To ensure that all participants feel safe and welcome, please no photos, filming, or recording during the introductions.

Look for updates announcing the date, venue, and how to RSVP for PITCH PERFECT.
